What You Need for Verification
To verify your Axiory account, you will need to provide two types of documents, which you can easily upload as scans or clear photos from your smartphone:
- Proof of Identity (POI): This confirms your identity. Accepted documents include your National ID Card, Passport, or Driver's License. Ensure the document is valid, displays your clear photo, full name, surname, date of birth, address, expiry date, and all four corners. Expired documents cannot be accepted.
- Proof of Address (POA): This confirms your current residential address and must be dated within the last 6 months. *Accepted documents include a utility bill (electricity, water, etc.), a receipt of telephone charges (with the issuer's seal visible), a bank or credit card company bill (with the issuer's seal visible), a residence permit (with the seal on the same page), or a tax-related document. Ensure the document displays your full address (as per your Axiory registration), full name and surname, issue date, and all four corners. Documents older than 6 months are not accepted.
*For our Tradit Ltd. clients, the proof of address needs to be issued within the last 3 months.
Completing the Verification Process in 5 Simple Steps
- Choose Document Type: Select whether you’re uploading your Proof of Identity or Proof of Address.
- Upload Your Document: Choose to upload a scanned file or take a photo directly using your device.
- Grant Camera Access (If Taking a Photo): Allow your device’s camera (smartphone or webcam) to be accessed if you choose to take a photo.
- Review Captured Image: Ensure the captured image is clear and all information is legible, then click "continue."
- Upload Your Photo: In some instances, you may be asked to upload or take a photo of yourself. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Why Your Documents Might Be Refused
Our automated system aims for quick verification, but issues can arise. Common reasons for refusal include blurry, dark, or illegible images; the document's issuing country being incompatible with your registration; selecting the wrong document category during upload; or submitting expired or outdated documents with missing required information (photo, full name, address, issue/expiry date, all four corners). If your documents are refused, review the reason and try uploading again with the correct and clear documents.
