Here’s How You Can Download
a Custom Indicator on MT4

 
  1. Download a custom indicator file.
  2. Start MT4 to be installed, and click ‘Open Data Folder’ from the ‘File’ menu.
  3. Open the ‘MQL4’ folder of the data folder, and choose the ‘Indicators’ folder in it.
  4. Drop the downloaded custom indicator file into the ‘Indicators’ folder.
  5. Start MT4 and the custom indicator name you copied earlier will be displayed in the navigator window. If you drop the custom indicator name into the chart window, the custom indicator setting screen will be displayed.
  6. The setting screen for the custom indicator will be displayed. If there is no setting change, click ‘OK’.
  7. Make sure that the function of the custom indicator is displayed.
