Nano, Standard, Max and Zero now run on MT4, MT5 and cTrader alike. And MT5 Tera has a new name: Nano.
From 14 October 2026, Standard and Max are available on MetaTrader 5. Until now, MT5 meant choosing between Tera, Zero and Alpha, so traders who preferred Standard or Max stayed on MT4 or cTrader. Now you can take either account to MT5 and use the platform’s full toolkit, including 21 chart timeframes and six pending order types.
Same accounts, every platform
With Standard and Max on MT5, all four of our classic accounts are available on all the platforms we offer – MT4, MT5 and cTrader. Choose your account by how trading costs are charged, and your platform by how you like to trade – in any combination.
What do Standard and Max bring to MT5?
- Standard: commission-free trading, with your trading costs in the spread.
- Max: commission-free trading and leverage of up to 1:2000 at total qualifying equity of USD 2,000 or less. Maximum leverage steps down as your equity grows; the full leverage tiers set out the conditions.
Both come in swap-free versions for Islamic accounts, and Zero and Alpha stay on MT5 as they are.
Tera is now Nano
Tera has always been Nano under a different name, with the same spreads, commission and leverage. From 14 October 2026, it carries the Nano name on MT5 too, so you’ll find the same account names on every platform. If you trade on an MT5 Tera account, there’s nothing you need to do: your account and its conditions stay exactly as they are.
